I am a Software Engineer with 15+ years experience in developing web applications and supporting large scale systems. Over my career I have worked with many open source platforms but my passion lies in developing websites and web applications in Python, PHP, JavaScript and Drupal.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in all parts of the software development life cycle. From Technical Lead and Project Management to Senior Developer, I use the latest development technologies to identify, design, develop, test, implement and support effective software solutions.

I work most effectively when I’m part of a team and I am an advocate in growing the open source community. As part of my role in the university I regularly mentor at events and encourage software contribution. I speak regularly at both local and European events about best practice and interesting projects I’m working on.
